Poland Steam Train Festival

The Museum of Industry and Railways in Silesia will be hosting its annual ‘Steam Gala’ next week.

This will be the 7th Steam Gala featuring historic steam engines from Poland, the Czech Republic and Germany.

Last year over 15,000 visitors came to see, touch and experience these classic machines, which are presented on the turntable at the museum, and on the tracks around Jaworzyna Śląska.

This year the Gala, on 8-9 Sep, will also feature vintage utility vehicles – agricultural tractors, road rollers, locomotives and military vehicles.
