New Design River Cruise Ship

AmaWaterways have unveiled designs for the first of a new generation of river cruise ships that are almost twice the width of traditional river cruise ships.

When she is launched in May 2019, MV AmaMagna will have space for a wider choice of facilites including four restaurants & a wellness studio, and more spacious accommodation for her 196 guests in 53 suites with balconies.

She will also have something unique on a river cruise ship; a watersports platform with a Sundowner vessel, providing activity and excursion opportunities.

And, of course, a double-width ship means more space on the top deck. Guests can enjoy a large heated pool, while those looking to unwind will love the whirlpool and access to the pop-up sky bar.

MV AmaMagna will operate on the Danube, sailing seven night rotations from Vilshofen to Budapest, from 17 Nov 2019.
